Public Health Scientific Exhibition – 2022
The Department of Community Medicine, Colonel Malek Medical College, Manikganj has organised a Public Health Scientific Exhibition as a part of the academic curriculum of the batch CMMC 06. It has been shown on 14the August, 2022 at the Academic Laboratory of the Department of Community Medicine, Colonel Malek Medical College, Manikganj.
The Third Year MBBS students of the Session 2019-2020 of Colonel Malek Medical College, Manikganj who are currently studying Community Medicine were given assignment on different important topics of public health from the Curriculum of Community Medicine in 17 groups of 2 – 5 members. They were asked to prepare the assignment in the form of posters and 3D models with a view to promote learning by doing. The learning activity also tried to focus on optimum use of available resources making it as cheap as possible. The department also instructed them to get ready for an exhibition, simultaneously. With a very short notice of 7 days, the students prepared the assignments as well as the exhibition. The exhibition was open for all. It was graced by the presence of the Principal of CMMC Dr. Zakir Hossen, the Director of CMMCH Professor Dr. Bazlul Karim Chowdhury, Assistant Director of CMMCH, and the heads of the different departments and other teachers of the different disciplines of the institute.

3. Immunity and Immunization Schedule
4. Road to health chart
5. Sanitary latrine
6. Water purification system and water born diseases
7. Food pyramid
8. Danger signs of pregnancy
9. Age pyramid
10. Sources of Vitamin
11. Climate change
12. Green Earth
13. Greenhouse effect
14. Ice berg phenomenon of disease
15. Natural history of disease
16. Referral system of Bangladesh
17. National and international NGOs
The Academic Laboratory will be kept open in the month of August for interested teachers and students during office hours.
